01 · TERMINAL
Cruise Terminal 25 (Carnival & Princess)
2502 Harborside Drive, Galveston, TX 77550
Drop-off: Follow signs for Terminal 25 — it's the eastern terminal in the downtown port area. Drop luggage curbside with porters (tip $2-3 per bag), then proceed to parking. The terminal is directly across from Terminal 28.
PARKING
Multiple options: Express Lot is walking distance. Lots A (160 33rd St) and B (224 33rd St) are further from the terminal, with a free shuttle. SMP Garage at 25th & Harborside has covered parking at a rate the port does not publish — it prices by lot and quotes yours when you book. Reserve online at portofgalveston.com for best rates.
02 · BOARD
Boarding: Carnival's online check-in typically opens about 14 days before sailing, and that is where you choose an Arrival Appointment — a specific window for arriving at the terminal. The earliest appointments typically go first, so check in as soon as your window opens if boarding early matters to you.
- □ Keep your ID, boarding documents, and medication in your carry-on Checked bags may not reach your cabin until later in the day.
- □ Use the arrival time printed in your boarding documents Your cruise line's current documents are the source of truth for check-in.
- □ Keep one small day bag with anything you need before your cabin is ready You may board before cabins and checked luggage are available.
