01 · TERMINAL
Terminal AA (MSC Cruises)
2200 N Cruise Blvd, Miami, FL 33132
Drop-off: Pull up to the covered drop-off area directly in front of the terminal. Porters with luggage carts are waiting curbside — tip $2-3 per bag. This is the world's largest cruise terminal, so signage is excellent. An additional berth of this same building appears on schedules as Terminal AAA — the same covered drop-off and the same check-in hall serve it, and ships from other lines berth there on busy days, so follow the ship-name signage rather than assuming MSC.
PARKING
Park in Garage AA ($20/day short-term, $35/day for cruises). The garage has 7-foot clearance. You can reserve parking in advance through the MSC website or MSC for Me app. Take the covered walkway directly to check-in.

02 · BOARD
Boarding: Most cruise lines assign an arrival window during online check-in — set yours as soon as check-in opens, since the best slots go first. Don't arrive before your window opens: terminals typically hold early arrivals outside, so getting there early buys you nothing. Experienced cruisers most often point to early afternoon, once the first rush has cleared, as the smoothest time to walk in. Follow the check-in instructions your cruise line sends you — they always take priority over general guidance.
- □ Keep your ID, boarding documents, and medication in your carry-on Checked bags may not reach your cabin until later in the day.
- □ Use the arrival time printed in your boarding documents Your cruise line's current documents are the source of truth for check-in.
- □ Keep one small day bag with anything you need before your cabin is ready You may board before cabins and checked luggage are available.
