01 · TERMINAL
Bell Street Cruise Terminal (Pier 66)
2225 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98121
Drop-off: The terminal is at 2225 Alaskan Way on the downtown waterfront. Follow cruise terminal signs from Alaskan Way. The drop-off area is directly in front of the terminal — pull up, unload luggage with porters (tip $2-3 per bag), and then proceed to the parking garage.
PARKING
The Bell Street Pier Garage has 1,500 covered spaces at $30/day, located at 9 Wall Street directly across from the terminal. A sky bridge connects the garage to the cruise terminal — no need to go outside. Maximum vehicle height is 6ft 6in with no oversize option, so a tall SUV, van conversion, or roof box may not fit — measure before you drive in. Reservations run through SpotHero and are worth making given the garage's size. Credit cards accepted.
02 · BOARD
Boarding: Most cruise lines assign an arrival window during online check-in — set yours as soon as check-in opens, since the best slots go first. Don't arrive before your window opens: terminals typically hold early arrivals outside, so getting there early buys you nothing. Experienced cruisers most often point to early afternoon, once the first rush has cleared, as the smoothest time to walk in. Follow the check-in instructions your cruise line sends you — they always take priority over general guidance.
- □ Keep your ID, boarding documents, and medication in your carry-on Checked bags may not reach your cabin until later in the day.
- □ Use the arrival time printed in your boarding documents Your cruise line's current documents are the source of truth for check-in.
- □ Keep one small day bag with anything you need before your cabin is ready You may board before cabins and checked luggage are available.
