How This Site Makes Money
The guides are free and always will be. Here is every way money reaches us, and what it is not allowed to change.
The rule
A commercial relationship never changes a pick, an order, or a star. Restaurants, hotels, and activities are chosen from public reviews and official sources before anyone checks whether the place can be booked through a partner — and plenty of them can't. Stars are a provenance claim about where a fact came from, not a rating we sell.
No one pays for placement here, and nothing on this site is sponsored content. If a partner asked us to move something up, the answer would be no, and we would say so on this page.

What we do not do
