How these numbers are counted
- One departure is one scheduled sailing in a port’s own published schedule. A ship that leaves four times this month counts four times; the ship count counts it once.
- 6 of the 11 ports publish a schedule we read straight from the port authority; the rest come from CruiseTimetables. Every row on this page says which.
- Schedules refresh twice a week. A port whose latest refresh failed is dropped from the totals until it verifies again — its numbers are never carried forward.
- Counts move as cruise lines add, cancel, and re-time sailings, so a number cited from this page is a snapshot of its verification date, not a forecast.
