A seven-night cruise can mean eight parking days
Port Canaveral counts both arrival and departure days. Manhattan Cruise Terminal charges by cruise night. A seven-night sailing is therefore $160 before tax at Port Canaveral's standard rate and $315 at Manhattan's published pier rate.

1. Confirm the port and terminal
Do not navigate to the ship name alone. Read the terminal or pier in your cruise documents, then check it again near departure.
- Port Canaveral: terminals sit on different sides of the port and use different approaches. Start with the Port Canaveral terminal directory, then open the terminal shown in your documents.
- Manhattan: Pier 88 and Pier 90 are the active Manhattan Cruise Terminal berths. Both use the vehicle entrance at West 55th Street and 12th Avenue. Check the Manhattan terminal directory. Brooklyn and Cape Liberty are separate ports.
2. Compare the right billing unit

Two official conflicts: Port Canaveral's visitor page says vehicles and RVs pay $20/day, while its tariff lists $40/day for oversized vehicles. Cruise NYC gives both 8 feet and 8 feet 3 inches as Manhattan's rooftop height limit. Confirm an oversized or tall vehicle directly and plan to the lower height.

3. Choose the transport pattern
Port Canaveral
Terminal parking is the simple walk-to-ship option. An off-site lot adds two shuttle waits. A hotel solves parking only when the exact booked rate includes cruise-duration parking and the transfers your party needs.

- What exact terminal or pier appears in my cruise documents?
- Does the quote charge by calendar day, cruise night, or a fixed package?
- Are taxes and fees included?
- Does the hotel rate include parking while I am at sea?
- Is the transfer one-way or round-trip, and who is covered?
- Is a reservation guaranteed, requested, or unavailable?
- Does my vehicle fit the height and oversized rules?
- What is the last accepted arrival or shuttle time?
