Galveston is the unusual port where a hotel package is easier to price than the port's own lot. The Port of Galveston takes cruise parking through its reservation system and produces a number only after you have entered your sailing dates, so the figure you can actually plan against ahead of time usually comes from a hotel. Below are the Galveston packages whose terms we could read on the hotel's own website, and the date we read them.
Two things separate them: how long the car is allowed to sit, and how many people the ride to the terminal covers. Both are in the tables rather than buried in prose.
A hotel appears here only when its own website published the package terms. Several more Galveston properties advertise a cruise package without saying what is in it; those stay on the hotels page, phrased as something to ask about when you book.

Cruise parking package
What it adds: $20 per night for each night over seven, on cruises of eight nights and above
Worth knowing: Direct bookings only — the inn says cruise parking is not available through third-party booking sites, and that a discount booked online alongside it will be removed. One vehicle per room and three per stay, no oversized vehicles, and a signed liability waiver at check-in.

Port of Galveston: Quoted at booking, not published
The port reserves cruise parking through its own system and returns a price only once your sailing dates are entered, so there is no standing daily rate to hold a package up against.

Both published packages are written around a week. Moody Gardens' Stay, Park and Sail covers valet parking for one vehicle and charges $60 per additional vehicle on stays of up to seven nights. Avenue O keeps the car in its private driveway and charges $20 per night for each night past seven on cruises of eight nights and above. Anything longer is worth settling by phone before you book.

Avenue O includes free shuttle rides to and from the terminal for its guests. A party of six splitting across two vehicles is exactly the case where a package stops covering what you assumed it covered.
