June 2027
All June 2027 sailingsMost cruise lines assign an arrival window during online check-in — set yours as soon as check-in opens, since the best slots go first. Don't arrive before your window opens: terminals typically hold early arrivals outside, so getting there early buys you nothing. Experienced cruisers most often point to early afternoon, once the first rush has cleared, as the smoothest time to walk in. Follow the check-in instructions your cruise line sends you — they always take priority over general guidance.

Parking rates, boarding windows and getting to the terminal are the same for every ship sailing from Manhattan Cruise Terminal, so they live in one place: parking at Manhattan Cruise Terminal, boarding tips and when you can board.
Getting to the Port
From John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK)
JFK is about 20 miles from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. Drive time is 45-90 min depending on traffic, and can stretch past two hours during a bad rush hour. This is the most common airport for international and domestic cruisers.
Cost: Yellow taxi: the terminal's own page lists a $52 JFK flat fare, tolls and tip on top — the TLC has raised the flat fare more than once since, so check the current rate rather than budgeting either figure. Uber/Lyft: no published fare; quoted in the app. AirTrain + subway: $11.75 total ($8.75 AirTrain + $3.00 subway).
From LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
LaGuardia is the closest airport at about 10 miles from the terminal. Drive time is 30-60 min depending on traffic through Queens.
Cost: Yellow taxi: metered, which the terminal's page puts at roughly $25-35 plus tolls and tip — an older estimate, so treat it as a floor. Uber/Lyft: no published fare; quoted in the app. NYC bus + subway: $3.00.
From Newark Liberty Airport (EWR)
Newark is about 18 miles from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. Drive time is 30-75 minutes depending on Lincoln Tunnel traffic. Often has cheaper flights than JFK.
Cost: Taxi: the terminal's page puts Newark at roughly $80-100, negotiated in advance, with tolls and tips on top. Uber/Lyft: no published fare; quoted in the app. NJ Transit + AirTrain: $15.25.
Driving & Parking at the Terminal
All vehicles enter from the north at 55th Street and 12th Avenue (Route 9A/West Side Highway). From the Lincoln Tunnel, take 42nd Street west to 12th Avenue, then north to 55th. On-site parking is available but extremely expensive. Third-party lots nearby offer valet service to the terminal.
Cost: On-site rooftop parking: $45 per night, taxes included, no SUV upcharge. Manhattan Cruise Parking at 670 W 43rd St advertises $27-28 per night with valet. Marketplace 'starting at' prices are not cruise-week rates.
