Parking
Same covered parking garage as Terminal 2, running a rate the port quotes at booking rather than publishing. Pre-booking online is recommended on busy weekends. The garage is a short walk from the terminal entrance. Credit cards and cash accepted — no debit cards at the gates.
Passenger drop-off
Continue down Channelside Drive past Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 at 815 Channelside Dr. The drop-off lane is directly in front. Porters will tag and take your luggage curbside — tip $2-3 per bag. Then follow signs to the parking garage.
Luggage storage
Port Tampa Bay says security restrictions leave no place to store baggage at any of its cruise terminals, on or before cruise day.
The port names one alternative: the Florida Aquarium, next to Terminal 2 at 701 Channelside Drive, stores luggage free when you buy a discounted admission ticket.

Before you arrive
- Complete your line's online check-in before arriving — Carnival guests in the Carnival HUB app, Royal Caribbean guests in the Royal Caribbean app
- Have your boarding pass ready on your phone
- Bring proof of citizenship plus a government-issued photo ID — a driver's license alone is not accepted, even a REAL ID. An Enhanced Driver's License (WA, NY, MI, MN, VT) counts as both on a round trip. A passport covers both; on a closed-loop sailing that returns to Tampa, a state-issued birth certificate with your photo ID also works, and guests under 16 need only the birth certificate
- Arrive during your assigned boarding window to avoid congestion at security screening
Last-minute supplies
The terminal has minimal shopping inside. Sparkman Wharf is a 5-minute walk if you need food or a coffee before boarding. Publix on Harbour Island is the closest grocery for forgotten essentials.
