Parking
Terminal 6 has its own parking area on McKay Street at a rate the port quotes at booking rather than publishing. It's a smaller lot than the main garage, so arriving early is smart on busy days. Pre-book online through Port Tampa Bay's website. Credit cards and cash accepted.
Passenger drop-off
Terminal 6 is at 1333 McKay Street, separate from Terminals 2 and 3. Follow signs for Terminal 6 or McKay Street once you're in the port area. The drop-off lane has porter service — hand off luggage curbside before parking. This terminal is a bit farther from the main Channelside area.
Luggage storage
Port Tampa Bay says security restrictions leave no place to store baggage at any of its cruise terminals, on or before cruise day.
The port names one alternative: the Florida Aquarium, next to Terminal 2 at 701 Channelside Drive, stores luggage free when you buy a discounted admission ticket.

Before you arrive
- Margaritaville at Sea emails your arrival window and boarding pass, and posts both in the Guest Portal, about 21 days before sailing
- Bring that boarding pass printed or on your phone — guests without one are sent to the standby check-in lane
- Norwegian guests: Norwegian Gem sails from Terminal 6 too — check in through the Norwegian Cruise Line app and go by the arrival time on your own boarding pass
- Royal Caribbean guests: Enchantment of the Seas sails from Terminal 6 on some dates — check in through the Royal Caribbean app and go by the arrival time on your own boarding pass
- Have your boarding pass ready at the security checkpoint, along with proof of citizenship and a government-issued photo ID — a driver's license alone is not accepted, even a REAL ID. An Enhanced Driver's License (WA, NY, MI, MN, VT) counts as both on a round trip. A passport covers both; on a closed-loop sailing that returns to Tampa, a state-issued birth certificate with your photo ID also works, and guests under 16 need only the birth certificate
- Margaritaville at Sea opens Terminal 6 at 9:30 AM on embarkation days. Terminal doors close at 2:30 PM sharp — arrive well before the cutoff or you will be denied boarding
- Margaritaville at Sea gives the earliest arrival windows and the VIP check-in lane to Express Pass, Priority Boarding package and suite guests
Last-minute supplies
Limited options at Terminal 6 itself. The Florida Aquarium plaza is nearby for a quick bite. For pharmacy or grocery needs, drive to CVS downtown or Publix on Harbour Island before heading to the terminal.
