• Closest subway: the A, C, B, D or 1 train to Columbus Circle. The terminal's own directions say to walk south on 8th Avenue, turn right onto 52nd Street, and continue west to 12th Avenue.
• Closest local buses: the M57 (57th Street crosstown) and M31 (57th Street/York Avenue). Port Authority Bus Terminal at 625 8th Avenue is the nearest intercity bus terminal.
• By ferry: the nearest NYC Ferry landing is Midtown West / West 39th Street on the St. George route.
• Inside the building: passengers arrive at street level beside their ship's berth, with vessel signs on the pillars nearest the correct pier. The Customs Hall is reached by either of the two passenger elevators at the head of each pier, or by the escalator on the south side of the entrance area, and porters take baggage from street level to the ship.
• There are no luggage storage lockers anywhere in the terminal, so plan around an early arrival or a late disembarkation rather than assuming you can stash bags.

The operator describes it as a revolving system: ships arrive between 7 and 8 am, and passengers who parked for the previous sailing are usually off the property by 10–10:30 am, which frees up spaces through the morning.

• Rate: $45.00 per night for cruise passengers, effective April 1, 2023, per nycruise.com, checked 2026-07-29. Taxes are included in the rate and there is no upcharge for SUVs.
• Payment: due on arrival into the lot, credit card only — cash has not been accepted since January 13, 2020.
• Hours: cruise parking opens at 8 am and check-out is 3 pm. On-site parking is open and porters are available by 9 am.
• Height limit: the official page states an eight-foot height restriction on personal vehicles for rooftop parking, and separately lists an 8'3" restriction for all passenger vehicles. If your vehicle is anywhere near either figure, call the terminal parking line (212.641.4454) before you drive in.
• Luggage sequence when you park: park first, then drop bags on the second level for check-in. Passengers who need parking cannot drop bags and then park without exiting the terminal.
