When Can You Board Freedom of the Seas?
Royal Caribbean gives you an arrival time slot picked in the Royal App and printed on your mobile boarding pass. Arrive at your assigned boarding time — not earlier. You must be checked in and aboard no later than 90 minutes before port operations close.
The arrival time on your own boarding pass is the one that governs your sailing.

Park in Garage A, which PortMiami leaves to its operator to price: the port's own parking page publishes no rate for it and sends you to royalmiamiparking.com for rates and reservations. Select your sailing date there to see the rate, and keep any confirmation handy for the garage entrance.
- Drop-off
Follow signs to Terminal A — look for 'The Crown of Miami' with its distinctive peaked roof design. Drop off luggage curbside with porters (tip $2-3 per bag), then drop off passengers at the terminal entrance before parking.

Drop luggage curbside with porters at the distinctive 'Crown of Miami' terminal before parking. The terminal has spacious waiting areas with comfortable seating, so arriving within your window is actually relaxing here. The CVS on Biscayne Blvd is the last good drugstore stop before the port.
