Your Terminal

Terminal F (Carnival Cruise Line)

Drop-off: Follow signs to Terminal F — Carnival's newest and largest terminal. The covered drop-off area has porter service ready (tip $2-3 per bag). This terminal opened in 2023 and the facilities are top-notch.

Parking: Park in Garage F at $10/day short-term or $25/day for cruise duration. The garage is adjacent to the terminal with an easy covered walk to check-in. Lost ticket fee is max $275, so keep it safe.

  • Complete online check-in through the Carnival app and have your boarding pass ready
  • This is Carnival's third facility at PortMiami and the largest cruise terminal in North America at 471,500 square feet

Getting to the Port

From Miami International Airport (MIA)

MIA is about 20 minutes from PortMiami by car, traffic permitting. This is the closest major airport.

Uber/Lyft: $15-25 depending on traffic and surge. Taxi: ~$30 flat rate to port.

From Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL)

FLL is about 35-45 minutes from PortMiami. Sometimes flights to FLL are cheaper, but factor in the longer transfer time.

Uber/Lyft: $35-55 depending on traffic. Shared shuttle services: ~$20-30 per person.

Driving & Port Parking

PortMiami has parking garages at each terminal. The port is on an island — take the Port Boulevard tunnel from I-395 (toll-free) or the MacArthur Causeway from South Beach. Royal Caribbean Terminal A uses the 1,000 Building Garage ($22/day). Carnival Terminal F uses the 2,000 Building Garage ($22/day). Norwegian and MSC terminals have adjacent garages at similar rates. Some smaller terminals have open-air lots at $10-15/day.
