When Can You Board Utopia of the Seas?
Royal Caribbean gives you an arrival time slot picked in the Royal App and printed on your mobile boarding pass. Arrive at your assigned boarding time — not earlier. You must be checked in and aboard no later than 90 minutes before port operations close.
The arrival time on your own boarding pass is the one that governs your sailing.

Utopia of the Seas cruise parking at Cruise Terminal 1
- Where you park
Park in the CT-1 garage ($20/day plus tax, covering the day of arrival and the day of departure). Parking is cashless — major credit cards only — and paid on arrival; no reservations are accepted. Take the covered walkway directly to the terminal — it's a short walk.
- Drop-off
Cruise Terminal 1 is on Discovery Rd on the south side of the port — the group Port Canaveral signs as the B Terminals. From SR-528 take Exit 54B, not 54A, and follow the signs for Terminal 1. The port asks drivers to come straight to the terminal: drop-off is in front of the terminal or in the parking facility, and porters are right there with carts. Tip $2-3 per bag.

Utopia of the Seas boards at CT-1, where you'll want to park on levels 3-4 of the garage ($20/day plus tax) for shade and quicker exits when you return. Screening at CT-1 is run by the port and the cruise line rather than the TSA, and the queue is longest mid-morning on a multi-ship Saturday. Complete your Royal Caribbean online check-in as early as possible to snag the earliest boarding group — that's the single biggest time-saver at this terminal.
