Your Terminal

Cruise Terminal 10

Drop-off: CT-10 is the newest terminal at Port Canaveral, built for the mega-ships. Follow port signs to Terminal 10 on the east side. The drop-off area is spacious and modern — wide lanes, covered canopy, and well-staffed with porters. Unload curbside and tip $2-3 per bag.

Parking: Park in the CT-10 multi-level garage ($17/day). This is one of the newer garages, so everything is well-lit and clearly signed. Elevators and a covered walkway connect directly to the terminal. Park on levels 2-3 for the best balance of availability and proximity to the walkway entrance.

Check-in tips:

  • CT-10 handles some of the largest ships sailing from Port Canaveral — embarkation crowds can be significant, so stick to your assigned boarding time
  • Download your cruise line's app and complete online check-in in advance — this is the biggest time-saver at this terminal
  • The terminal is large and modern with clear signage. Security is airport-style and typically moves well despite the volume
  • This terminal has more seating and amenities in the pre-boarding area than the older terminals — there's space to sit and wait comfortably if you arrive within your window

Getting to the Port

Drive Yourself — Port Parking

Most cruisers drive. Port Canaveral is about 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO) via the Beachline Expressway (FL-528). On-site parking at the port is $17/day (open-air) with covered garage options at some terminals for $20/day.

$17/day open-air, $20/day covered garage + tolls (~$5 from MCO)

Drive Yourself — Off-Site Parking

Off-site lots near the port offer significant savings over on-site parking. Go Port Canaveral (goportcanaveral.com) on SR-401 is the most popular, with rates around $10/day including free shuttle service every 10-15 minutes. Cruise Parking Port Canaveral on SR-528 is another reliable option at $8-10/day. Both offer covered and uncovered options — covered costs a few dollars more per day but is worth it if you're leaving your car for a week in the Florida sun.

$8-12/day (free shuttle to terminal included)

Park-and-Cruise Hotel Package

Many hotels near the port bundle a night's stay with parking for the duration of your cruise plus a shuttle to the terminal. You drive in the night before, sleep, then shuttle to the port in the morning while your car stays at the hotel. Radisson Resort at the Port, Country Inn & Suites Cape Canaveral, and Residence Inn Cape Canaveral all offer reliable park-and-cruise packages. Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach is another solid option if you want a beach-adjacent stay.

$90-150 total (1 night hotel + parking for full cruise + shuttle)

Shuttle from Orlando Airport (MCO)

Several shuttle companies run scheduled transfers from MCO to Port Canaveral. Shared shuttles cost $25-35 per person; private SUVs run $120-180 for up to 6 passengers.

$25-35/person (shared) or $120-180 (private, up to 6)

Local Tip

MSC Seashore uses CT-10, Port Canaveral's newest and most modern terminal. The multi-level parking garage ($17/day) connects directly to the terminal via elevators and a covered walkway — aim for levels 2-3 for the best proximity. Download the MSC for Me app and complete check-in before arrival. CT-10 has more comfortable pre-boarding seating than the older terminals, so arriving within your window is actually pleasant here.
