Getting There & Parking at Port Tampa Bay
Port Tampa Bay publishes no daily rate. Its prepay portal shows a total only after you enter your cruise line and sailing dates, and the one figure on its own site is a $20 valet upgrade. Terminals 2 and 3 use the Channelside Parking Garage at 810 Channelside Drive; Terminal 6 uses 1331 McKay Street, next door to the building.
Two lots nearby do publish a number. Harbor Lot advertises $6 a day, and Park4Cruise's online table starts at $59.96 for four nights, rising to $75 if you drive in without a reservation, plus 6% sales tax and a $4 processing fee.

Port Tampa Bay's Channelside garage at 810 Channelside Drive sits across the street from Terminal 3 and is the walk-up option for Terminal 2 as well; Terminal 6 sailings park at 1331 McKay Street, next door to the terminal. The port is easy to reach from I-4 (Exit 1) or the Crosstown Expressway (SR-618). Follow signs to your specific terminal once on Channelside Drive.
Pro tip: Price your own dates in the port's prepay portal rather than trusting an average — there is no published rate to compare against. Then price the same dates at Park4Cruise and Harbor Lot, both on Channelside Drive. Only Park4Cruise runs a shuttle; Harbor Lot expects you to walk. TPA is about 10 miles from Port Tampa Bay — roughly 20 min by car, making it one of the most convenient airport-to-port transfers in Florida. The airport is modern, well-organized, and rarely has the chaos you see at MIA or FLL.
Pro tip: Tampa traffic is generally lighter than Miami or Fort Lauderdale, but the Howard Frankland Bridge (I-275) can get backed up during rush hour. If your flight lands before 7 AM or after 9 AM, you'll breeze right through.

MCO is about 75-90 minutes west of Tampa. Some cruisers fly into Orlando for better flight deals or to combine a Disney trip with their cruise. Factor in the longer drive and possible I-4 traffic.
Pro tip: I-4 between Orlando and Tampa is notorious for traffic and construction. Avoid driving between 4-7 PM on weekdays. If you're coming from a theme park, leave early in the morning to give yourself plenty of buffer.

Pro tip: The Barrymore publishes the clearest terms: its Ship & Shore package includes parking for up to 10 days plus a shuttle to and from the port, you must show cruise boarding passes at check-in to get the rate, and its complimentary shuttle does not serve Tampa International. Because the port publishes no daily parking rate, no hotel deal can honestly be sold to you as a saving against it — compare the package total against a week at Park4Cruise or Harbor Lot plus the room you would have booked anyway.

Tampa's free streetcar runs from downtown Tampa through the Channelside district and on to Ybor City. There's a stop right near the cruise terminals. It's a fun, scenic 20-minute ride if you're staying downtown.
Pro tip: The streetcar runs every 15 minutes and is a great way to get between your downtown hotel and the port without paying for a ride. Just note it doesn't run until 8:30 AM on weekends, so plan accordingly if you have an early boarding time.
Why the portal asks for your cruise line first
The cruise line decides the terminal, and the terminal decides the lot, so the portal cannot quote anything until it has both. Price your own dates there, then set that total against the lots on the same street that do publish a figure.
