Parking
The covered parking garage across from the terminal runs a rate the port quotes at booking rather than publishing and accepts credit cards and cash. You can pre-book online through the Port Tampa Bay website for a guaranteed spot. The garage fills up on busy sailing days, so arrive early or reserve ahead. No debit cards at entry gates.
Passenger drop-off
Take Channelside Drive to Terminal 2 at 651 Channelside Dr. The drop-off area is right in front of the terminal — pull up, unload luggage curbside with porters (tip $2-3 per bag), then loop around to the parking garage. The terminal is well-signed once you're on Channelside.
Luggage storage
Port Tampa Bay says security restrictions leave no place to store baggage at any of its cruise terminals, on or before cruise day.
The port names one alternative: the Florida Aquarium, next to Terminal 2 at 701 Channelside Drive, stores luggage free when you buy a discounted admission ticket.

Before you arrive
Arrive during the check-in window in your cruise-line documents.
- Check in through your own line's app before arrival — the Norwegian Cruise Line app, the Royal Caribbean International app, or the Celebrity Cruises app
- Regent guests: Seven Seas Mariner sails from Terminal 2 too, and Regent runs its own check-in — follow your Regent documents, not the apps above
- Bring proof of citizenship plus a government-issued photo ID — a driver's license alone is not accepted, even a REAL ID. An Enhanced Driver's License (WA, NY, MI, MN, VT) counts as both on a round trip. A passport covers both; on a closed-loop sailing that returns to Tampa, a state-issued birth certificate with your photo ID also works, and guests under 16 need only the birth certificate
- Boarding groups are assigned online — earlier check-in usually means an earlier boarding group
- The terminal has seating and AC if you arrive before your boarding group is called
Last-minute supplies
There's a small convenience area inside the terminal for basics. For anything more, the Publix on Harbour Island Blvd is a 5-minute drive, and CVS downtown is about the same distance.
