When Can You Board Carnival Dream?
Carnival gives you an Arrival Appointment, chosen during online check-in — the time everyone in your cabin should be at the terminal. You must be on board by the Final Boarding time printed on your boarding pass.
The arrival time on your own boarding pass is the one that governs your sailing.

Carnival Dream cruise parking at Cruise Terminal 28
- Where you park
Same options as Terminal 25: Express Lot (walking distance), Lots A & B (free shuttle), or SMP Garage (covered, at a rate the port quotes when you book rather than publishing). Reserve online at portofgalveston.com. Free shuttle runs between lots and both terminals.
- Drop-off
Address: 2702 Harborside Drive. Terminal 28 is directly across from Terminal 25 in the downtown port area. The port describes Terminal 28 as primarily Disney Cruise Line's, but Disney does not have it to itself — the port also lists Carnival sailings and Regent's Seven Seas Splendor here, so go by the terminal on your own booking. Drop luggage curbside, then proceed to parking.

The port quotes parking by sailing length through its reservation system rather than publishing a daily rate. Premium covered parking is available at some lots. Independents publish Galveston Park N Cruise $140 (gated outdoor) to $175 (indoor) a week; EZ Cruise Parking $11 to $15 a day — read 2026-09-22.

The most budget-friendly parking is Lots A (160 33rd St) and B (224 33rd St), both with a free shuttle to the terminal. If you want walking distance, the Express Lot is right next to the terminal. Complete your check-in on the Carnival app before arrival. For a great pre-cruise meal, Willie G's on Pier 21 is about 5 minutes away — request a waterfront table for views of the ships.
